Sprinter 2013 - April Snow Showers bring... Crabby Minnesotans

April has been a very strange weather month for Minnesota.  Today is April 23rd and we just had our 3rd significant snow fall in April.  Here are some pictures from the snow storms.

Storm # 1 - April 11th - Approx. 3" of snow.
This storm wasn't too bad.  It was more annoying, but it seemed to melt pretty quickly.  We really thought this was our last bit of snow before Spring made it's appearance.  In hind-sight this was just the beginning of our April snow.

Storm #2 - April 18th - Approx. 12" of heavy wet snow.

First 6" of snow.

Second 6" of snow the next morning.

Cody digging for sticks that weren't covered in snow the day before.

Kaitlyn enjoying the last snow storm of the season.  Right?

Gavin helping me shovel the stairs.

Hey mom?  Where's my shovel... wasn't this just sand last night?

Too much snow!

Storm #3 - April 22nd - approx. 3" of snow.

We are crossing our fingers that this is the last time we have to wake up to several inches of snow until at least mid-December.  I am also hoping that creating this post we will not have any more snow storms.
Here is the FCST for the next 5 days... Looks promising to me!
